Registration is now open for young women ages 17-21 interested in competing for the title of 2027 Miss Manatee County Fair, continuing a local tradition centered on leadership, confidence, community involvement and the Manatee County Fair.
The next titleholder will succeed Maebry Paris, the 2026 Miss Manatee County Fair, who has represented the fair throughout the past year.
The 2027 Miss Manatee County Fair Pageant is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Palmetto High School Auditorium.
The Miss competition includes a closed interview, Western Wear, an on-stage question and Formal Wear. Competition attire is required to be approximately knee length or longer. Contestants are also expected to participate in a required orientation unless an absence is approved by the Pageant Board of Directors.
The registration deadline is Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. The Miss division registration fee is listed at $131, including a $6 processing fee.
Applicants are asked to provide information about their school activities, interests, honors and other commitments as part of the registration process. Contestants must also acknowledge the pageant’s official rules and the expectations, obligations and responsibilities associated with serving as a Manatee County Fair Queen.
The winner of the Miss division will receive the $1,500 Ellen Meade Memorial Scholarship, along with a Manatee County Fair Queen crown, banner sash, trophy and flowers. Contestants also receive a Fair contestant T-shirt and two admission tickets to the 2027 Manatee County Fair, including one for the contestant and one for a parent or guardian.
Official rules, Queen responsibilities, waiver information and online registration are available through the Manatee County Fair’s Miss Manatee County Fair Pageant page.
