Registration Opens for Second Annual Parrish Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony
Registration is now open for the Second Annual Parrish Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony, giving veterans, organizations and volunteers an opportunity to take part in a community celebration honoring those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Hosted by the Parrish Civic Association, the event is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026. The Veterans Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. along Fort Hamer Road, following the same route used during last year’s inaugural event. A ceremony at Parrish Community Park will immediately follow the parade.
Organizers say additional details about the parade route and event schedule will be released closer to Veterans Day.
Vendor space will be limited and reserved exclusively for veteran organizations and organizations that serve the veteran community. Three food truck spaces will also be available, with priority given to veteran-owned businesses. Interested food vendors are asked to contact organizers by email with additional information.
Community members who would like to assist with the event are encouraged to register as volunteers. Organizers say volunteers play an important role in making the annual celebration possible.
The Parrish Civic Association said it looks forward to once again filling local streets and the community park with patriotic displays while recognizing veterans from the Parrish area and beyond.
