Reinold Navarro Named FSL Pitcher of the Week
Fourth Marauders pitcher to be named in 2026
Bradenton Marauders LHP Reinold Navarro has been named the Florida State League Pitcher of the Week for August 11-16, as announced by Minor League Baseball.
Navarro allowed just one hit and secured six strikeouts over 5.0 scoreless innings of work during his start on August 15 against the Lakeland Flying Tigers. This start included 4.2 perfect frames before Navarro let up a single to Michael Oliveto. The outing was Navarro’s fourth combined start of collecting at least 5.0 innings with six or more strikeouts, and the first since July 11 against the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels
The 19-year-old from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic was signed as an international minor league free agent on January 15, 2024. Navarro made six appearances and four starts for Bradenton in 2025, striking out 14 batters over 6.1 innings. He is the fourth Marauders pitcher to win the award this year after RHP Seth Hernandez was named Pitcher of the Week in April, RHP Jack Anker reached the achievement twice in May, and RHP Levi Sterling was awarded in June.
Navarro leads all active Marauders pitchers this season in wins (5), strikeouts (117), ERA (2.60), and is tied for first in saves (1). The left-hander also ranks first in the Florida State League in strikeouts and is tied for first with Adrian Florencio for most strikeouts in a single season in franchise history.
The Marauders return to LECOM Park on Tuesday, August 18, to begin a six-game series against the Jupiter Hammerheads. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
