Reward Increased in 2023 Bradenton Homicide Investigation
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has announced an increased reward in the ongoing investigation of a 2023 murder in Bradenton.
Authorities, in partnership with the Gold Star Club, have raised the reward to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the death of 33-year-old Dwight Evans Jr.
Evans was shot around 2:30 a.m. on August 6, 2023, in a parking lot on 14th Street West. He was taken to Blake Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
