Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate Opening of New EMS Station #22 on Dec. 8
Manatee County residents are invited to celebrate the opening of the county’s newest emergency medical facility as EMS Station #22 holds a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, December 8. The event begins at 2 p.m. at the new station, located at 2950 Moccasin Wallow Road, with an open house to follow from 3 to 6 p.m.
The new station expands Manatee County’s emergency response capabilities, providing additional resources to support the growing needs of the community. The facility is designed to enhance response times, improve service coverage, and strengthen overall public safety for residents living in and around the North County area.
Following the ribbon cutting, doors will open for a public tour of the station. Residents will have the opportunity to explore the facility, meet the EMS team, and learn more about the life-saving services provided by Manatee County EMS every day. Staff members will be on hand to answer questions and share information about equipment, operations, and community health initiatives.
County officials encourage residents to attend, meet their local first responders, and see firsthand how the new station will help create a safer, better-served community.
