Run Manatee 5K Series Back for 2026
After selling out all three races in 2025, the RUN Manatee 5K Series will be back for year two in 2026 with new chances to explore Manatee County while staying physically fit!
Moving into its second season, the Run Manatee 5K Series is a family-friendly series of running events designed to combine fitness, fun, and the unique charm of Manatee County’s diverse locations. With a focus on wellness, community activities and the spirit of discovery, each race offers an engaging experience complete with a dynamic warm-up, chip-timed race, yoga cool-down and local wellness and food vendors.
“This is an opportunity to see our county up close and at a more mindful pace,” said Manatee County Commission Chair (and 2025 Run Manatee participant) George Kruse. “The energy and engagement are amazing to see.”
Three Races. One Community. Runners can sign up for early bird registration at $35/race or all three races for $90. Regular pricing is $40 per race. The series will feature one race in Spring, Summer and Fall, highlighting the unique features of each race location:
SPRING RUN
April 11, 2026 - Tom Bennett Park
400 Cypress Creek Blvd., Bradenton
The 5K run/walk presented by RWP Runs includes a scenic route through Bennett Park around ponds and along mixed terrain such as grass, crushed shell and asphalt. Warm up will be provided by Nick Nolting Training and yoga cooldown is by Kayla McCarthy-Asha of Akasha Yoga Room. 10% of registrations will benefit Kiwanis Bradenton.

SUMMER RUN
July 11, 2026 - Coquina Beach
1495 Gulf Dr. S., Bradenton Beach
The 5K run/walk presented by RWP Runs includes a scenic route along Coquina Beach asphalt trail under the trees with a gulf breeze. Warm up will be provided by Ray Gardner of Prosper Bradenton and yoga cooldown provided by a local yoga instructor. 10% of registrations will benefit The Center Anna Maria Island.

FALL RUN
November 21, 2026 - Rye Preserve
905 Rye Wilderness Trail, Parrish
The 5K run/walk presented by RWP Runs will allow runners to explore this beautiful slice of old Florida on mixed terrain. The preserve’s trail system leads visitors through four distinctive ecosystems, including sand pine scrub, oak hammocks and the river communities. Warm up will be provided by a local fitness trainer, and yoga cooldown provided by a local yoga instructor. 10% of registrations will benefit Foundation for Dreams.
