Sage Biscuit Café will close its downtown Bradenton location later this month after 10 years in business at the site.
The restaurant announced that its final day of operation will be Sunday, Sept. 27. According to the business, its 10-year lease has ended and the building owner has decided not to continue having a restaurant in the space.
While the downtown location is closing, Sage Biscuit Café will continue serving customers at its location at 6656 Cortez Road W. in Bradenton. The Cortez Road restaurant will remain open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering the same menu along with some familiar staff members from the downtown location.
Customers can also visit the owners’ sister restaurant, The Spotted Rabbit Gastropub, at 1830 59th St. W., next to HCA Florida Blake Hospital. The restaurant currently serves lunch and dinner and will add breakfast beginning Monday, Oct. 5, at 8 a.m.
The Sage Biscuit Café team thanked customers for their support over the past decade and said it looks forward to continuing to serve the community at its other Bradenton establishments.
