The Salvation Army of Bradenton is preparing for the upcoming holiday season by recruiting seasonal bell ringers to support its annual Red Kettle Campaign. A job fair will be held on Friday, October 16, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Salvation Army, located at 1204 14th St. W. in Bradenton.
The organization is seeking individuals interested in seasonal employment as bell ringers, who play an important role in raising funds to assist local families and children in need. Applicants attending the job fair are required to bring two forms of identification.
In addition to hiring seasonal employees, the Salvation Army is encouraging community members to volunteer their time as bell ringers during the holiday season. Volunteers help staff donation locations and encourage contributions to the Red Kettle Campaign.
Funds collected through the campaign directly support Salvation Army programs that provide assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardships and other challenges throughout the Bradenton area.
The annual Red Kettle Campaign is one of the Salvation Army’s most recognizable holiday fundraising efforts, relying on seasonal workers, volunteers and community generosity to help meet local needs.
