Sarasota Paradise Launches Youth Academy, Opening Pathway to Professional Soccer
Sarasota Paradise is expanding its commitment to the local community with the launch of a new Youth Academy designed to develop young athletes and create a clear pathway to higher levels of competition, including professional soccer.
The academy will serve players from U8 through U18, offering structured training, competitive opportunities, and long-term development focused on both athletic growth and personal character. The initiative aims to provide local families with access to a high-quality soccer program rooted in the region.
Tryouts for the inaugural academy teams are scheduled to begin April 28 and will run through April 30. Sessions will be divided by age group, with U8 through U12 players participating from 6 to 7 p.m., U13 through U15 from 7 to 8 p.m., and U16 through U18 from 8 to 9 p.m.
Program leaders say the academy is about more than just developing talent on the field. The goal is to build a system that supports young athletes in reaching their full potential while strengthening the local soccer community. By establishing a developmental pipeline, Sarasota Paradise is positioning itself as a key contributor to the growth of the sport in the region.
Registration for tryouts is currently open online, with interested families encouraged to sign up in advance to secure a spot. The launch marks a significant step in expanding opportunities for youth athletes across Sarasota and Manatee counties.
