SCF Ignite Discovery Expo Offers Free Hands-On Tech Experiences at Multiple Locations
Families throughout Manatee and Sarasota counties are invited to explore science, technology, and innovation during the Ignite Discovery Expo, a multi-day event series hosted by State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota in partnership with Suncoast Remake Learning Days.
The expo features interactive, hands-on experiences for all ages, giving participants the opportunity to engage with coding, artificial intelligence, drones, virtual reality, circuit boards, and other STEM activities in an accessible, family-friendly environment.
The event series will take place across several locations with the following schedule:
April 21 at SCF Venice from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
April 22 at SCF Bradenton from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
April 23 at SCF Lakewood Ranch from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
April 25 at SCF Lakewood Ranch from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a Homeschool STEAM session from noon to 2 p.m.
May 2 at The Nest at Robinson Preserve from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. as part of STEAMfest
The Ignite Discovery Expo is part of the larger Suncoast Remake Learning Days initiative, which brings together community partners to promote hands-on, educational experiences that inspire curiosity and lifelong learning.
All events are free to attend, and participants are encouraged to register in advance through Eventbrite to take part in the wide range of activities offered throughout the series.
