School District of Manatee County Announces January Job Fairs for In-Person and Virtual Hiring
The School District of Manatee County is hosting two job fairs in January 2026, offering both in-person and virtual opportunities for individuals interested in joining the district’s workforce.
An in-person job fair will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Wakeland Support Center, located at 1812 27th Street East in Bradenton. The event is open to the public and will highlight a wide range of non-instructional and support positions currently available across the district.
Positions being filled include teacher aides, food service workers, bus drivers and bus aides, maintenance staff, vehicle mechanics, custodians, and school nurses. Nursing opportunities include full-time and substitute registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. District representatives will be on-site to discuss job openings, application requirements, and career pathways within the school system. Those interested are encouraged to register in advance through the district’s online form.
In addition to the in-person event, the district will host a Teacher and Paraprofessional Virtual Job Fair on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. This online hiring event will focus on instructional and classroom support roles, including elementary, VPK, middle school, and high school teachers; ESE teachers; teacher aides; and paraprofessionals.
The virtual event allows participants to connect with district recruiters from anywhere and learn more about teaching and paraprofessional opportunities for the upcoming school year. Registration is required and available through the district’s virtual hiring platform.
Both events reflect the School District of Manatee County’s ongoing efforts to recruit and retain qualified professionals who support student success and school operations across the county.
