School District of Manatee County to Host Virtual Teacher and Paraprofessional Job Fair on July 14
The School District of Manatee County is seeking educators and support staff for the 2026-2027 school year and will host a virtual Teacher and Paraprofessional Job Fair on Tuesday, July 14, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The district is recruiting candidates for VPK through 12th-grade positions across all grade levels and subject areas. Available opportunities include classroom teachers, Exceptional Student Education teachers, paraprofessionals and teacher aides.
District officials say the hiring effort comes as Manatee County continues to grow, with two new elementary schools scheduled to open this fall. The expansion has created additional opportunities for educators looking to join one of Florida’s fastest-growing public school districts.
The district offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base teacher salary of $49,702, along with a referendum supplement of $9,537 and additional degree supplements for eligible employees. New hires also have access to professional development opportunities, free add-on endorsement coursework, teacher certification pathways and support programs designed to help new educators succeed in the classroom.
Because the event will be held virtually, applicants are encouraged to register early to reserve their preferred interview time. Those who are unable to attend the job fair may still apply for open positions through the district’s online employment portal.
The School District of Manatee County encourages qualified candidates who are passionate about education to apply and help serve the county’s growing student population during the upcoming school year.
