School District to Host STEM and School Choice Showcase at Convention Center
The School District of Manatee County will host its annual STEM and School Choice Showcase on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bradenton Area Convention Center in Palmetto.
The free, family-friendly event is designed to help families explore educational opportunities across the district. Every elementary, K–8, middle, and high school in the district will be represented, giving attendees the opportunity to meet teachers and staff, learn about academic programs, and discover pathways available through Manatee County public schools.
The showcase will feature hands-on STEM exhibits, demonstrations, and interactive activities for all ages. Additional entertainment includes performances by school bands, cheerleaders, and other student groups. Prize wheels, giveaways, and participation from community partners will also be part of the event experience.
The STEM Showcase will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the School Choice portion of the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will be held at 1 Haben Boulevard in Palmetto.
District leaders encourage families considering school options to attend and learn more about the programs, resources, and opportunities available throughout the School District of Manatee County.
