Search Underway for Missing Endangered 14-Year-Old Girl in Bradenton

Authorities in Manatee County are searching for 14-year-old Aaliyah Burton, who was reported missing during the early morning hours of July 7. Aaliyah was last seen around 3 a.m. in the 5000 block of 24th Street West in Bradenton.

She is classified as an endangered juvenile and may be a threat to herself, prompting an urgent response from local law enforcement and the community.

Aaliyah is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 125 pounds. She has curly brown hair and a scar on her right wrist. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a black bonnet, black shorts, white and black sneakers, and was carrying a black and gray backpack.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and is asking the public for assistance in locating Aaliyah. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (941) 747-3011.
