Search Underway for Missing Endangered Palmetto Woman
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a missing and endangered adult, 74-year-old Kathryn De Milia, who was last seen around 5 a.m. on June 26 in the 3100 block of 16th Avenue East in Palmetto.
De Milia is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 145 pounds. Authorities note she suffers from health disorders that require daily medication, heightening concern for her well-being. At the time she left her residence, it was unclear what clothing she was wearing.
She is known to walk in the area surrounding the Ellenton Outlet Mall and is a frequent visitor to the Walmart on U.S. 301 North in Palmetto. Deputies have been canvassing those areas and beyond as part of the effort to locate her safely.
