Sewer Line Collapse Prompts Road Closures in Downtown Bradenton
BRADENTON – A sewer line failure at the intersection of 4th Avenue West and 10th Street West has forced road closures and detours in downtown Bradenton.
City of Bradenton Engineering and Sewer department crews are on site assessing the damage and working on repairs. At this time, there is no estimated timeline for when the roadway will reopen.
Drivers are advised to follow detour signage in the area. Access to the Manatee County public parking garage remains available via Manatee Avenue.
The City has urged motorists to use caution when traveling near the intersection and to allow extra time for travel in the downtown area while work continues.
