Low- and very-low-income homeowners in Manatee County have a limited-time opportunity to apply for assistance through the SHIP Housing Rehabilitation and Replacement Program, with applications open now through January 9, 2026.
The program offers a 0% interest, deferred-payment loan with a 20-year term to help eligible residents make required code-related repairs to their single-family homes or to replace dilapidated housing structures that no longer meet safety standards.
