Skanska Begins Construction on New $68 Million Artisan Lakes Elementary in Parrish
Skanska, a leading global construction and development firm, has signed a $68 million contract with the School District of Manatee County to build the new Artisan Lakes Elementary School in Parrish, Florida.
Located on a 20-acre greenfield site along Buckeye Road, the new school will span 122,550 square feet and serve more than 969 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The two-story facility will feature 63 classrooms, a covered playground, and a boardwalk that extends into adjacent wetlands, offering both functional and environmental learning opportunities.
Construction is currently underway, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2026.
