Small Aircraft Rollover Near Airport Manatee Ends Without Injuries
A small aircraft rolled over in a field near Airport Manatee on Friday afternoon, prompting a response from local emergency crews.
According to officials, North River Fire District units were dispatched at approximately 12:09 p.m. after reports came in of an overturned plane near the airport. Two people were aboard the aircraft at the time of the incident.
Both occupants were able to exit the aircraft on their own and were not injured, authorities confirmed. Emergency responders assessed the scene and ensured there were no immediate safety concerns.
