Soar in 4 Hosts Free Family Literacy Night at Bishop Museum of Science and Nature
Families across Manatee County are invited to enjoy an evening of free learning and fun on Wednesday, January 7, as Soar in 4 hosts a FREE Family Night at the Bishop Museum of Science and Nature from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
The event offers families a unique opportunity to explore the museum’s interactive exhibits while discovering free literacy resources and books designed to support children’s learning at home. Parents and caregivers will learn simple, engaging ways to build early literacy skills through play, reading, and everyday activities.
The spotlight book for the evening is Planting a Rainbow, a colorful and engaging story that introduces children to plants, flowers, and the joy of growing things—perfectly aligned with Soar in 4’s mission to promote early learning through accessible, hands-on experiences.
The event runs while supplies last and is open to all families at no cost. The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature is located at 201 10th Street West in Bradenton.
Soar in 4’s Family Night highlights the importance of combining play, exploration, and literacy to support children’s development—making learning a shared, joyful experience for the entire family.
