State Road 64 Boat Ramp to Close March 9–13 for Repairs
The State Road 64 Boat Ramp in Bradenton will temporarily close for scheduled repairs and maintenance during the week of March 9 through March 13.
Manatee County officials announced that the ramp, located at 3020 Manatee Ave. E., will be unavailable to boaters while crews conduct dock repairs and perform routine maintenance to improve safety and functionality at the site.
The popular launch point, situated along the Manatee River near State Road 64, is frequently used by recreational boaters and anglers accessing local waterways. During the closure, the facility’s docks and related infrastructure will be repaired to ensure they remain in good condition for public use.
Boaters are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternative boat ramps in the area while the work is underway. County officials expect the ramp to reopen at the end of the week following completion of the repairs.
The temporary closure is part of ongoing maintenance efforts to keep Manatee County’s public boating facilities safe and accessible for residents and visitors.
