SunCoast Blood Centers to Host St. Patrick’s Day Open House Blood Drive
SunCoast Blood Centers will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early with a festive community blood drive and open house on Monday, March 16, encouraging residents to donate blood and support patients across the region.
The St. Patrick’s Open House Party will take place at all SunCoast Blood Centers locations, with a special celebration planned at the Lakewood Ranch donor center. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., donors at the Lakewood Ranch location can enjoy a traditional corned beef and cabbage luncheon while taking part in a festive Irish-themed atmosphere.
The event also coincides with Movie Ticket Monday, offering additional incentives for those who donate. All donors will receive an instant $30 e-gift card. Individuals donating for the first time will receive a CineBistro movie ticket, while returning donors who bring along a new donor will receive two CineBistro movie tickets. Tickets are limited and available while supplies last.
SunCoast Blood Centers encourages community members to schedule appointments in advance to ensure availability. Blood donations collected during the event help support hospitals and patients throughout the Suncoast region, making each donation an important contribution to local healthcare needs.
