Suncoast Credit Union Foundation Awards $8,000 to Stillpoint Mission
Stillpoint Mission announces a $8,000 charitable gift from the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation. The funds will support the Stillpoint Children’s Diaper Program, which promotes the health and well-being of children in our community by providing diapers to mothers seeking assistance each week. 90% of Stillpoint clients are women, mostly young mothers who are seeking assistance for their children. One of their greatest needs is for diapers for their infants and toddlers which can cost up to $100 per month. Stillpoint assists these mothers by supplying diapers for each of their children up to age 3 and all special needs children, regardless of age. This allows these mothers to allocate their limited resources to other necessities for their families. In 2026, Stillpoint distributed 482,172 diapers to needy mothers. Suncoast Credit Union Foundation’s grant of $8,000 will support distribution of 45,000 diapers.
Suncoast Credit Union, Florida’s largest credit union, founded the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation to promote the education, health and emotional well-being of children in the community. Each time a Suncoast member uses their debit or credit card; the credit union donates four cents to the Foundation to fund local initiatives. Since its inception in 1990, the Foundation has raised and donated over $55 million.

Since 1998, Stillpoint Mission has offered weekly outreach to the disadvantaged in our community providing basic daily needs including food, clothing, diapers, hygiene products and limited financial assistance for utilities. Stillpoint is a 100% volunteer organization with no paid staff. Stillpoint receives no government funding. There are no conditions placed on those receiving assistance. In 2025, Stillpoint served 33,424 clients/families – an all-time record.
