Temporary Parking Lot and Sidewalk Closures Begin Near County Parking Garage for Tower Removal

Manatee County has closed the parking lot at the corner of 10th Street West and 4th Avenue West starting Monday, June 2, as crews begin dismantling a county-owned radio tower near the County Parking Garage.

The closure will remain in effect through Friday, June 6. In addition to the lot being inaccessible, nearby sidewalks are also closed to ensure safety during the tower removal process.

Drivers traveling southbound on 10th Street West should expect partial obstruction in the area. No traffic flaggers will be present during this time, so motorists are urged to proceed with caution and be prepared to shift into the northbound lane when necessary.

The county is asking for the public’s patience as this project is completed safely and efficiently.
