Temporary Water Outage Scheduled in Palmetto for Monday, July 14

The City of Palmetto has announced a scheduled water service interruption that may affect residents and businesses in the downtown area on Monday, July 14, 2025. The planned water outage will occur from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 2:00 p.m. while utility crews conduct essential repairs to the system.

The impacted area includes Riverside Drive East from 5th Street West to 6th Avenue West, and from 8th Avenue West to 8th Avenue West. Affected streets include parts of 3rd Street West and 4th Street West, as well as surrounding residential blocks. Crews are scheduled to begin work promptly at 9:00 a.m. and expect to complete the repairs within five hours. During this time, residents in the highlighted area may experience a complete loss of water service.
