The Lucky Ducky Race for Pace Makes a Splash on the Bradenton Riverwalk Tomorrow
BRADENTON — The highly anticipated Lucky Ducky Race for Pace returns tomorrow, and for the first time, it’s floating into downtown Bradenton along the scenic Riverwalk. The beloved annual event, which supports Pace Center for Girls, promises a day full of splashy fun, food, and friendly competition — all for a great cause.
This year, Quacky the Duck is teaming up with the City of Bradenton to bring the festivities to the heart of downtown. Thousands of bright yellow rubber ducks will race from the Riverwalk Gateway to the Day Dock/City Pier as spectators line the waterfront to cheer them on.
The Great Lawn will serve as the hub of activity, where guests can enjoy food and beverages from Anna Maria Oyster Bar and Kona Ice, along with family-friendly games and entertainment. Admission is free, and duck adoptions are just $5 — giving participants a shot at specQUACKular prizes. You don’t have to be present to win.
All proceeds benefit the Pace Center for Girls Manatee, which provides academic and counseling support to at-risk girls in the community.
Parking is available at the City Centre Parking Facility (P1) and the Riverwalk Lot (P6).
