The Salvation Army of Manatee County to Serve Free Thanksgiving Meal to the Homeless and Hungry on November 27
The Salvation Army of Manatee County invites the public to join us for a warm, welcoming, and free Thanksgiving Day meal on Thursday, November 27, 2025. This annual community meal is open to anyone who is hungry, experiencing homelessness, or simply in need of companionship and a hot holiday meal.
From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., guests will be served a complete Thanksgiving plate
featuring turkey, bread, stuffing, a vegetable, dessert, and a drink. The meal will be
hosted at our downtown Bradenton campus located at 1204 14th Street West,
Bradenton, FL 34205. More than 200 meals are expected to be served.
“This season reminds us that even when life feels uncertain and ever-changing,
gratitude still shows up in powerful ways,” said Deral Pitts, Director of Community
Relations & Development. “We invite our community family to come share those
moments of thanks with us over a hot meal and a welcoming seat at the table.”
The Salvation Army of Manatee County continues its mission of offering hope, dignity, and support to families, children, and individuals in crisis. This Thanksgiving meal is one of the many ways the organization ensures that no neighbor goes hungry—especially during a time meant for togetherness.
