The Salvation Army of Manatee County is inviting community members to attend its upcoming Bell Ringer Hiring & Volunteer Opportunity Event on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 1204 14th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34205.
The organization is seeking both seasonal Bell Ringers and volunteers to support this year’s Red Kettle Campaign. Funds raised through the campaign stay local and help provide assistance for children and families throughout Manatee County.
“The Red Kettle Campaign is one of our community’s most recognized Christmas traditions, but more importantly, it helps provide hope and support to neighbors facing difficult circumstances,” said Deral Pitts, Director of Community Relations & Development for The Salvation Army of Manatee County.
Applicants interested in seasonal employment should bring two forms of identification to the hiring event. Volunteers, churches, businesses, civic groups, and community organizations are also encouraged to learn how they can participate throughout the holiday season.
