Thirteen New Deputies Join Manatee County Sheriff's Office
Thirteen Manatee Technical College Law Enforcement Academy graduates were officially sworn in as deputies for the Manatee County Sheriff's Office during a ceremony held at Parrish Community High School. Their loved ones pinned the new deputies following the academy's Basic Recruit Graduation Ceremony.
The recruits completed rigorous training and demonstrated exceptional dedication throughout the academy, earning their place in the department. Among the graduates, Carter Dewey served as Class Leader and Evi Rosa received the Top Gun Award for marksmanship.
The new deputies—Cameron Bruhn, Ryan Collins, Nicholas Cutting, Carter Dewey, Thomas Fraser IV, Meranda Green-Scott, Kyle Hammontree, Lauren Johnson, Joseph Macdermott, Alfred Musitano, Evi Rosa, Nikolas Taylor, and Tyler Wudyka—are set to begin their careers with the sheriff’s office, committed to serving and protecting the community.
