Three Adults Shot Inside Palmetto Home; Sheriff’s Office Investigating
Three adults were hospitalized after a shooting inside a Palmetto home Sunday night, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded shortly before 10 p.m. after a 911 call reported a shooting at a residence in the 2100 block of Third Avenue East.
When deputies arrived, they found three adults suffering from gunshot wounds. All three victims were transported to a hospital for treatment and are expected to recover from their injuries.
Detectives with the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office believe the shooting was a targeted incident. The circumstances surrounding the shooting, including what may have led to the gunfire and who was responsible, remain under investigation.
No additional information about the victims or any potential suspects has been released.
