Tickets Now on Sale for Booked for Lunch 2026 Featuring James Patterson
Tickets are now available for the 2026 Booked for Lunch fundraiser, allowing readers and library supporters to hear from bestselling author James Patterson while supporting Manatee County’s public libraries.
Hosted by The Library Foundation, the annual event will be held Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Palmetto Marriott Resort & Spa and will feature internationally bestselling author James Patterson. Patterson is one of the world’s most prolific and bestselling authors, whose works span mystery, thriller, children’s literature and nonfiction.
Following the luncheon, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a book signing. Proceeds from the event will support vital library resources, innovative youth literacy initiatives and expanded access to books and educational opportunities throughout Manatee County.
Tickets are on sale now, and organizers encourage attendees to reserve their seats early for what is expected to be a popular event celebrating literature while supporting local libraries.
