Tiger Bay to Highlight Community Resilience and Giving at Upcoming Luncheon
The Manatee Tiger Bay Club will host a luncheon program titled When Support Decreases, Giving Grows on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Manatee Performing Arts Center.
The program will focus on resilience, generosity, and the power of the community when traditional support systems are reduced. Featured speakers include Wendy Deming, CEO of the Bishop Parker Foundation; Veronica Thames, CEO of the Manatee Community Foundation; and Tracy Vanderneck, President of Phil-Com, LLC.
The discussion will examine how philanthropy and grassroots action strengthen communities when government priorities shift and public resources decline. The event aims to highlight the role of collaboration and generosity in meeting human service needs.
Organizers encourage early registration to attend this program, which is expected to draw civic leaders, nonprofit professionals, and residents engaged in building a stronger community.
