Time to dunk community leaders
On Friday, August 16, the Bradenton Kiwanis Club, the Bradenton Marauders, and the Kiwanis AKtion Club are sponsoring the first Special Needs Community Celebration at LECOM Park.
A dunk tank featuring County Commissioner Kevin Van Ostenbridge, County Commissioner George Kruse, Tom Waters from Easterseals, Supervisor of Elections candidate Scott Farrington, and Bradenton Mayor Gene Brown will be set up to support the “Change the World” project. Funds raised will support foster care projects locally.
At $1.00 a throw or $20 to run up and push the button, our community leaders are guaranteed to hit the water.
