Town Hall Scheduled in Ellenton to Hear Priorities of District 1 Residents Following Commissioner’s Passing
Manatee County residents will have an opportunity to share concerns and priorities with county leadership during a community town hall scheduled for Thursday evening in Ellenton.
George Kruse will host the public meeting as county officials continue to respond to the recent passing of District 1 Commissioner Carol Ann Felts. The gathering is intended to provide residents of District 1 with a chance to discuss local issues, ask questions, and help inform the county about community needs moving forward.
The town hall will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 12 at Rocky Bluff Library, located at 6750 U.S. 301 N.
County officials are encouraging community members to attend and participate in the discussion. The meeting is designed to help county leadership better understand the priorities of District 1 residents while continuing efforts to serve the area during the transition period following Felts’ passing.
Residents will be able to speak directly with Kruse, share feedback about county services, and learn more about ongoing initiatives affecting their neighborhoods. County leaders say public participation will help guide future decisions and ensure that the concerns of District 1 residents remain a priority.
