Tragic Crash on I-275 Claims Three Lives in Manatee County

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — A devastating accident claimed the lives of three individuals early Wednesday morning when a pickup truck veered off Interstate 275 in Manatee County, colliding with a utility pole and catching fire. The fatal incident occurred around 3:17 a.m. as the truck was traveling southbound. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the vehicle left the road, entered the median, and struck the pole with significant impact.

The collision resulted in a fire that engulfed the truck, leaving the driver and two passengers unable to escape. First responders pronounced all three individuals dead at the scene.
