Turning Points Appoints Christopher Kelly as Board Treasurer and Announces Executive Board Leadership
Turning Points is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Kelly as Treasurer of its Board of Directors, bringing extensive financial leadership and strategic expertise to support the organization’s continued growth and long-term sustainability.
Kelly is the Chief Financial Officer at Vengroff Williams, where he manages financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and strategic financial planning. He brings more than 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including more than six years in leadership roles as Finance Manager, Controller, and Chief Financial Officer.
Before joining Vengroff Williams, Kelly worked at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate & Investment Bank, where he gained valuable experience in financial operations, risk management, process improvement, and organizational leadership.

Kelly earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Delaware and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of South Florida.
Guided by a dedicated Board of Directors, Turning Points has served as a vital safety net for individuals and families throughout Manatee County since 1995. Kelly’s appointment reflects the organization’s continued commitment to strong governance, sound financial stewardship, transparency, and long-term sustainability as it expands pathways to hope, health, and housing stability.
In addition to Kelly’s appointment as Treasurer, Turning Points has announced its Executive Board leadership for the coming term. Kelly joins the Executive Board alongside newly elected Vice Chair Brian LaBrune. They will serve with current Executive Board officers David Kraft, Chair; Rich Visnov, Secretary; and Karen Windon, past Chair.
Together with the Executive Board, the Turning Points Board of Directors includes Melissa Allen, Ann Breitinger, Mark DeHaan, Mark Dunlop, Donn Githens, John Rojas, Alexander Stewart, and Charles Whitfield.
