Turning Points Seeks Bicycle Donations to Help Residents Reach Work, School, and Appointments
Turning Points is calling on the community to donate bicycles to help individuals in need of reliable transportation. Both men’s and women’s bikes are being collected to help people get to work, school, and essential appointments.
Last year, more than 800 bicycles were distributed through the nonprofit, providing many residents with the ability to travel to and from their jobs and gain greater independence.
Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Turning Points’ Donation Center, located at 705 17th Avenue West in Bradenton.
Turning Points continues to serve as a vital resource in Manatee County, and bicycles remain a key part of its mission to help people stabilize and succeed.
