Two Arrested Following Armed Robbery at Bradenton Grocery Store
Two men are facing armed robbery charges following a Sunday night incident at a Bradenton grocery store, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the robbery occurred around 8 p.m. when two masked men entered Tienda Latina, located in the area of 60th Avenue West. Investigators reported that the suspects demanded cash and fired a gunshot into the ceiling before taking money from the register and fleeing the scene in a gray sedan.
Witnesses in the surrounding plaza provided deputies with information that helped locate a vehicle matching the description just a few blocks away. Authorities said the suspects were still inside the vehicle when it was found.
After obtaining search warrants, detectives reported recovering multiple items of evidentiary value from the vehicle, including two firearms.
The suspects were identified as Juan Falcon, 32, and Alexander G. Turner, 38. Both men were arrested and charged with armed robbery.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may be released as they become available.
