The Bradenton Police Department is investigating a double homicide after two men were fatally shot Tuesday evening in the 400 block of 12th Avenue East.
The Emergency Communications Center received a report of a shooting at 6:20 p.m. Bradenton police officers arrived within three minutes and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds near the end of a dead-end road.
Antonio Rosario, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene. Willie Stubbs, 43, was transported to a hospital but died while en route.
Bradenton Police detectives and the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit are working to identify the person or persons responsible for the shooting.
The investigation remains active.
