Upcoming Aquatic Safety Courses Offer Essential Skills for Participants
The Manatee County Public Safety Department is offering Lifeguard Certification Classes at the G.T. Bray Aquatic Center, located at 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West, Bradenton. These classes provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to become certified lifeguards, ensuring they are well-prepared to respond to aquatic emergencies and maintain water safety.
The program includes comprehensive training in water rescue techniques, CPR, first aid, and team-based responses to emergency situations. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an official lifeguard certification essential for employment at pools, waterparks, and other aquatic facilities.
Classes are open to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements, which typically include minimum age restrictions and swimming proficiency tests. If you are interested, you should register early to secure a spot in the upcoming sessions.
