Veterans Florida and 26 West Launch First Entrepreneur Cohort in Manatee County
A new wave of veteran-led businesses is emerging in Manatee County with the launch of the first Veterans Florida x 26 West entrepreneur cohort. This initiative brings together 13 veteran entrepreneurs and spouses, representing over 120 years of combined military service across the Army, Navy, Air Force, and National Guard.
The diverse group includes professionals from various industries, including a chaplain, a chocolatier, and an author, all aiming to translate their military experience into successful business ventures. The program, hosted at 26 West Center, provides mentorship, resources, and networking opportunities to help veterans and their families thrive in business.
By fostering innovation and leadership, this initiative seeks to empower veteran entrepreneurs with the skills needed to navigate the challenges of business ownership. As the cohort progresses, the community is encouraged to follow their journey and support these dedicated individuals as they make an impact beyond their military service.
