The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Joshua Ballington, who is wanted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery by strangulation.
Authorities have issued a warrant for Ballington’s arrest and are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward. Law enforcement officials say the charges stem from a violent incident involving the use of a weapon and allegations of strangulation in a domestic setting.
Anyone who has seen Ballington or has information that could assist investigators is asked to contact the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office at 941-747-3011. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through CrimeStoppers of Manatee County, Inc. by calling 1-866-634-TIPS.
Officials remind the public not to approach the suspect and to report any sightings directly to law enforcement.
