Whole Foods Market will open its first Manatee County store Nov. 5 at Marketplace at Heritage Harbour, 7295 State Road 64 East in Bradenton.
The 42,000-square-foot supermarket will be Whole Foods’ 40th Florida location and will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
For the grand opening, the first 300 customers in line will receive a limited-edition Bradenton tote bag and a Secret Saver coupon worth up to $100 off. Buddy Brew Coffee will also be available for early shoppers.
The store will carry more than 450 products made or grown in Florida, including produce, seafood, baked goods, beverages and specialty grocery items. Florida brands represented include Lion Farms, Sunset Salsa, Cedar Key Seafarms, Norman Love Confections and several Tampa Bay-area breweries.
Departments will include full-service seafood and meat counters, prepared foods, hot and salad bars, pizza, a bakery, specialty cheeses and wellness and beauty products.
The opening will also include food and financial donations to Good Neighbors, which collects surplus food from area Whole Foods stores for distribution in the community. The organization previously received a refrigerated van through Whole Foods Market’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program.
Amazon Prime members will receive weekly discounts and an additional 10% off hundreds of in-store sale items. Grocery pickup is expected to begin shortly after the store opens.
Whole Foods Market operates approximately 550 stores in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
