Woman Arrested in Bradenton Hit-and-Run That Left Pedestrian Critically Injured
A 34-year-old woman has been arrested following a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries Saturday night in Bradenton.
Bradenton Police identified the suspect as Lindsey Gore. She was located and arrested and is charged with hit-and-run causing serious bodily injury. The vehicle believed to have been involved in the crash has also been recovered.
The crash happened around 10:50 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of 14th Street West.
According to police, the victim was walking a bicycle across 14th Street West when he was struck by a vehicle. He was transported to a hospital with serious injuries and remained hospitalized with life-threatening injuries as of Sunday morning.
Investigators initially sought the public’s help in identifying a woman believed to have been involved in the crash. Police described the suspect vehicle as a white Toyota 4Runner with damage to the front headlight.
Bradenton Police announced at approximately 7:50 a.m. Sunday, that Gore had been located and taken into custody and that the vehicle had been recovered.
The investigation remains ongoing.
