WonderWall Mural Fest Transforms Village of the Arts into Living Canvas March 7
The WonderWall Mural Fest is set to bring a burst of color and creativity to the Village of the Arts on Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., marking the district's largest event in 25 years.
The one-day celebration will transform the historic arts neighborhood into a living canvas, as artists create large-scale murals in real time throughout the community. Visitors will be able to watch walls come alive with bold designs and fresh artistic expression, adding to the area’s already vibrant reputation for colorful cottages and working studios.
In addition to live mural painting, the festival will feature live music performances, creating an immersive atmosphere for attendees of all ages. Organizers describe the event as both a celebration of public art and a way to strengthen community connections.
A special partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County will highlight youth involvement and creativity, offering young people opportunities to engage with professional artists and experience the power of art as a tool for expression and community building.
The WonderWall Mural Fest is expected to draw residents and visitors alike to explore the Village of the Arts, support local artists and businesses, and witness the neighborhood’s ongoing transformation through public art.
