Manatee Deputies Seek Suspect Accused of Unlicensed Contracting and Electrical Work
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Issac Eddington, who is wanted on charges related to unlicensed contracting and electrical work.
Sandbag Collection Begins December 1 Across Manatee County
Manatee County residents who no longer wish to store their storm-preparation sandbags will have an opportunity to drop them off at designated collection points from December 1 through December 15, 2025. The county is accepting intact sandbags at the same locations where self-service distribution previously took place.

Manatee County residents are invited to celebrate the opening of the county’s newest emergency medical facility as EMS Station #22 holds a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, December 8. The event begins at 2 p.m. at the new station, located at 2950 Moccasin Wallow Road, with an open house to follow from 3 to 6 p.m.
