Two people, including a firefighter, were injured Thursday evening after a fire broke out at a condemned home in Bradenton, according to Southern Manatee Fire Rescue.

Beginning October 6, residents in unincorporated Manatee County will see a change in their garbage collection routine as the County launches its new Big Bin Advantage program. PALMETTO — Mayor Dan West of Palmetto recently welcomed OSSIO, an Israel-based orthopedics company, to its new U.S. headquarters in the city. The company, which develops fixation implants to stabilize bones, has relocated into 30,000 square feet of leased space at the Florida International Tradeport
